K-YES Sunrise/Sunset Schedule
K-YES is licensed to the Federal Communications Commission at a 50,000 watt station during daylight hours. While we run Catholic talk radio 24-hours per day, we must power down to 5,000 watts during the night hours. Seeing as fall and winter are fast approaching, this means our signal may not reach you as often as it does during the summer.
To the right you will see the sunrise and sunset chart as provided by the FCC. We are mandated to adhere to the broadcast times listed there. You are also alway welcome to listen online as well! Thank you for listening!

In 2005, Andy Hilger decided to act on a lifelong goal: to build a Catholic talk radio station. He felt a need to provide spiritual resources and encouragement throughout the week to the St. Cloud Diocese and beyond. With a lifetime of radio experience and team of professionals on board, Andy built K-YES from scratch. When at full day-time power, our 50,000-watt K-YES signal is heard from Maple Grove to Fergus Falls!

Deb has been working in the Radio Broadcasting industry since 1991. For the past five years, she has been the General Manager of Spirit 92.9.

David comes to K-YES after earning a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and Marketing from Franciscan University of Steubenville. David has moved to a marketing role here at K-YES and hosts two local programs: "Voice From the Cloud," every Friday morning at 9am and "The Rydberg Guys" weekdays from 6:30am-7:00am! Michelle Super: Donor Relations
Michelle graduated from St. Cloud State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management. She has over 10 years of experience helping customers and donors. Michelle now handles donor relations - and keeps us all updated with the weather forcasts on K-YES! Mike V: Morning Sports and Weather
Mike V is an avid soccer enthusiast who also happens to produce the morning show on Spirit 92.9. Because he's great, we've asked him to be the friendly voice of your weather and sports in the early hours on K-YES.
Mike also hosts, "Bring Me the Sports" every Friday night at 8pm on AM-1180 K-YES.

- K-YES broadcasts at 1180-AM Catholic Radio. It's 50,000 watts of power is the same signal strength as WCCO radio, reaching almost 900,000 potential listeners.
What do you hope to do in central Minnesota?
- Provide quality Talk Radio programming for Central Minnesota.
- Serve as a tool to communicate the love of Jesus to all those who listen.
